television interviews
Featured on NBC, SECTION SIX focuses on one story out of the 150,000 men, women and children that sell their bodies in the red light districts of Pattaya, Thailand. Entrenched with bars and brothels catering to all sexual appetites, the city has been deemed the 'Sex Tourism Capital of the World'. The crude streets of the red light district can be especially dangerous for women, but Section Six is particularly infamous for its devastating exploitation. This film follows the story of a young woman that was rescued from Section Six by Shear Love International. Rather than casting an actress, we worked with a women that works in the red light district to get us access to the brothels of Section Six for this film. For her anonymity, we do not show her face in the film, nor the faces of the other students in the program who graciously volunteered to be in this film. Director/DP/Editor: PJ Accetturo
