section six

Featured on NBC, SECTION SIX focuses on one story out of the 150,000 men, women and children that sell their bodies in the red light districts of Pattaya, Thailand. This film follows the story of a young woman that was rescued from Section Six by Shear Love International. Rather than casting an actress, we worked with a women that works in the red light district to get us access to the brothels of Section Six for this film.

Child Fighters of the red light district

There are many different forms of exploitation. The red light districts of Thailand sell more than just sex. Throughout Thailand and the whole of South East Asia, children are exploited through sex, begging, street performing, and fighting. We work and partner with many organizations in Pattaya help and serve children who have been trafficked or are at-risk of being trafficked.

Echo

"If this was their choice, what were their options?"

Many men and women in Thailand end up working in the sex industry of Thailand because of a lack of education and opportunity for a different lifestyle. This is a short film written and directed by myself, depicting the cycle that so many women find themselves in. This may not be a true story, but it is very much based on the many stories I encountered on the streets of Thailand.
